Hello, hello (still — and for a little while longer — from here in Brazil), my dear friends, family, and supporters of the mission God has allowed me to live out!!

It’s been quite a while since I last shared an update here, but I’m finally back and I’ll try to keep it brief — don’t worry hahaha! 🤩
I hope that you who are reading this letter are doing well, and that more than just being an informational update about what I’ve been living for the honor and glory of God, this content may communicate more about who God is and what He is capable of doing in our lives when we are willing to obey Him and entrust our lives to His ways!
So, let's go? 👀
BRAZIL!
February 2026 — and it’s already been 6 months since I’ve been back in Brazil.

They have been six intense and precious months, during which I had the opportunity to reconnect with dear family and friends, be present for special moments, and celebrate alongside them the achievements and new seasons beginning in their lives. In addition, I had the privilege of welcoming here friends from abroad whom God gave me through the mission.

The trip that was supposed to last only about two months turned out to be much longer than I had imagined — and also filled with purposes I had never even considered until then.

I confess that before coming to Brazil, I focused on making plans according to my own expectations and my desire to meet the needs of the base, rather than truly seeking God’s guidance about how long I should stay here. I am very sorry for the way this affected many people — and not just myself.
Course Correction!!
It took a denied visa and, indeed, a broken and yearning heart asking God, “What is happening?” to remind me that “no” also carries purpose in our lives. I would even say that it is one of the most valuable purposes: to realign us and keep us within God’s will.

On December 20, 2025, Alex and I got engaged, and after praying and seeking God about what He has dreamed for us, we understood that it is time to get married and begin our life together in Brazil!!
Certainly, this news also took us by surprise and brings that question: “God, is this really You?” Yet, we understand that we will only have certainty by trusting and taking this step of faith.
Many changes come with this new phase, as Alex will be:
Moving to a new country;
Immersing himself in a new culture;
Learning a new language;
Getting involved in a new community;
Making new friends.
And, even though I’m from here, I’ve also been going through processes of adaptation after spending more than three years outside Brazil.
Now we face many challenges and decisions: organizing the move, handling Alex’s and our marriage documents, travel plans, building our life and home together, as well as discerning what is most important at this moment. And above all, our hearts continue to hold the burning desire to share God’s love and make Him even more known wherever we are.
May I invite you to be part of this moment through your prayers?

Our Relationship:
We are taking steps toward married life, but this is not just about us — it’s also about who God is and what He desires to do through us. That’s why we want to invite you to walk with us, covering us in your prayers. We already know how valuable they are and the difference they make. So please, continue praying for our relationship and for the greater purpose God has through it.
Marriage:
We plan to get married in the first half of 2026, in Brazil, and in the near future, hold celebrations in the United States as well — if possible, still this year. Pray that we find favor throughout the entire process: planning, organization, transition, documentation, and everything else that will be necessary. And, most importantly, that we remain aligned with God’s timing and will.
Building Our Home:
We have plans to build a house in the city where my family lives, in the interior of São Paulo. We believe this is also God’s guidance for this season. Like any project, it comes with goals and challenges, so we ask that you pray for wisdom in our decisions and perseverance in accomplishing this objective, experiencing God’s favor and provision.
Ministry and the Future:
We understand that missions is not just tied to the place we are, but to how we are called to live. We will continue sharing the good news, and we believe God will guide us toward a more specific ministry in the future. This initial time will be one of preparation and adaptation. Pray that we are not distracted by the things of this world, but that we remain focused on what God wants to form in us now, for what He will entrust to us later.
Finally, I want to leave an encouragement for you!
Your prayers are a crucial part of everything God has done in my life and also in the lives of those for whom you intercede. Therefore, never stop lifting up prayers:
“First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people.” — 1 Timothy 2:1
Don’t forget: you are also called to make God’s name known, exactly where you are and through what you have been dedicating yourself to.
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations…” — Matthew 28:19–20
Difficult days test our faith, but when we remain steadfast, we are strengthened. Don’t let circumstances keep you from living what God has prepared for you. Always remember:
“In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” — Romans 8:37
Thank you for reading this far and for being part of my life — praying for me, encouraging me, and contributing in so many ways to my calling. There are no words sufficient to express such gratitude!
As soon as we have more updates, we will send them to you. Feel free to reach out if you want to know more!
May God bless you today and always — Amen!
With love,
Nay & Alex 💛
