Who is Nayara?

Brazilian, passionate about life and the countless experiences that God allows me to live.

I always felt the urge to live something more and beyond the ordinary that my reality provided, but I only understood what it was about when God called me to be a Missionary during the open-ended trip around the world that I decided to undertake in mid-2022.

Between exploring the world and volunteering, I found a beautiful path that allows me to experience both while serving God’s kingdom, making His name known wherever I go!

I am literally at the beginning of this journey, but since the moment I said "YES," God has been guiding me on the path I need to walk and teaching me everything I need to fulfill my mission. This has led me to experience things I never imagined and take me to places I hadn't planned to go, after all, we believe in a God... "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us (Ephesians 3:20)

After completing the Discipleship Training School (DTS), where I learned more about the Gospel and had the opportunity to share the word in another nation, I once again accepted God’s call to serve at the YWAM SALEM base, located in the state of Oregon, USA for long term.

Here, I have been actively serving the base through ministries both within and outside YWAM Salem, such as street or university evangelism, mobilizing churches or events to invite young people to join the mission field, and training and equipping youth in our DTS (Discipleship Training School).

Ultimately, our mission is to make God's name known, and it is wonderful to see how this can happen in many ways, including through social media, playing Chess at a Coffee shop or managing a kitchen that serves people who arrive or are going to every part of the world carrying the word of God — one of the ministries I am currently involved with (2025).

Answering God’s call requires a lot of sacrifice and dedication, but when we are chosen for it, the challenges serve to strengthen us.

The goal of this blog is to share updates about my missionary life for those who wish to follow my journey a little more closely.

Being on the mission field is not solely the result of my effort, but living all of this has been made possible thanks to my Supporter Team. They encourage me, pray for me, and help with any needs I have to do what God asks or go where He sends me.

There are many ways to help, and I would say the main ones are: praying, sharing, encouraging, or giving. In whatever way God touches your heart!

Yes, prayer is undoubtedly one of the most valuable ways to help and will certainly assist me in following God's plans to fulfill what He has called me to do. You can pray for the success of the ministry, that more people may be impacted, for the necessary provision on this journey, as well as for my protection, spiritual and emotional growth, and development.

Financial Support

Living on mission involves the usual expenses of any life, but the difference is that the work I do is not financially compensated. I rely entirely on God's provision through people who respond to His call to support my ministry through financial donations, which are used to cover the costs of a normal life.
